The course is open. Good Afternoon Just a quick update on the work carried out on the greens this week, The greens were hollow cored to a depth of 3 inch , this is done to help reduce the thatch levels that create soft greens, also to improve the drainage to the playing surface. They were then top dressed to help replace the cores that have been removed. This was dragged into start and create a smooth surface. Finally the greens were rolled double to smooth any bumps created from removing the cores. The playing surface has had a fair bit of upheaval, which will create the greens to be unfortunately bumpy in the process which is unavoildable when carrying out this renovation work to the greens.

Thank you very much for the hospitality you showed us.Arriving at The Carrick after flying up from London, to be told the course is shut was a nightmare.... With every cloud having a silver lining, your club was that silver lining. Your course provided a good challenge for our golfing abilities...
